Overview

RE-ADVERTISEMENT RFQ42/05/2026 – SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF CHAINSAW CHAPS, STEEL TOE BOOTS AND SAFETY JACKETS to Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality. Accredited PPE suppliers are invited to bid for chainsaw chaps, steel‑toe boots, safety jackets (plus related PPE). Bid is assessed under PPPFA 80/20 and requires registration on CSD, SARS Tax Clearance, and full tender documentation.

Requirements

• CK/company registration (original or certified copy)
• Registration on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or certificate
• Certified IDs for directors (valid within 3 months)
• Certifications not older than 3 months; JV agreement if applicable
• Complete tender forms (Form of Offer, Declaration of Interest) and related MBD templates
• Statement of municipal rates/service charges or SAPS affidavit
• Company profile with proven experience
• Prices inclusive of VAT; no tipex; sign all price alterations
• BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; comply with B‑BBEE requirements
• Local content declarations as per SATS 1286:2011 (Annex templates) if applicable
• Valid bid for 90 days; no late, faxed or electronic submissions
• If sub-contracting, disclose details and B-BBEE status of sub‑contractors

How to Apply

• Availability: Tender documents from 17/07/2026 at SCM and downloadable from www.enochmgijima.gov.za (08:00–16:00)
• Submission: sealed envelope to Bid Box, Budget and Treasury Office, 25–27 Owen Street, Queenstown; closing 23 July 2026 at 12:00; no electronic submissions
• Documents to submit: MBD1–MBD9 packages (Part A/B, declarations), Form of Offer, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9, and supporting compliance docs (see file names in attached RFQ)
• Pre-qualification: CSD and SARS TCS; tax clearance required
