RE-ADVERTISEMENT: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF PROTECTIVE CLOTHING FOR METER READERS, CONTROL AND EHP'SClosed

Overview

This RFQ seeks the supply and delivery of protective clothing for meter readers, control and EHPs (environmental health practitioners) for uMzinyathi District Municipality. Suitable bidders are PPE/uniform suppliers and manufacturers with municipal/commercial PPE experience, preferably local to the Dundee area.

Requirements

• Original certified copies of owners' identity documents (not older than six months).
• Proof of company registration (CIPC), or copy of identity document if Sole Proprietor.
• Recent municipal account in the name of the bidder showing no more than 90 days outstanding, or proof of residence with affidavit; also similar documentation for directors.
• Completed MBD 3.1 (stamped) and submission of MBD 1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8 and MBD 9 on the company letterhead.
• NB: False declaration on MBD 4 para 3.14 and CSD information will lead to automatic disqualification.
• Full CSD Report; quotation must be on the company letterhead in addition to MBDs.
• Adjudication under 80/20 Preferential Point System; price must be valid for 90 days and inclusive of VAT and disbursements.

• Submit bids in a sealed tender box at the reception area: uMzinyathi District Municipality Offices, 39 Victoria Street, Princess Magogo Building, Dundee, 3000, by 12:00 on Friday, 23 October 2026; bids opened publicly.
• Telegraphic, faxed or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
• Required documents to submit include the mandatory returnables (MBDs), CSD report, original IDs, company registration, municipal accounts, and company letterhead documentation (as detailed above).
