Overview

RE-ISSUE RFQ to appoint two reputable horticulture service providers to provide “as and when required” horticultural services for the Gauteng North region for 36 months. The RFQ targets providers with specialized horticultural capabilities (tree felling, grass cutting, landscaping), vehicle capacity, and qualified chainsaw operators, with procurement rules governed by PRASA.

Requirements

• Stage 1A mandatory: Price Schedule on the official form; Joint Venture/Partnering Agreement signed; Closing/Submission register completed.
• Stage 1B mandatory: Valid COID/Good Standing; SARS PIN; CSD supplier registration; complete all RFP documentation.
• Stage 2 (technical/functionality; minimum 60%):
  • Company track record in specialized horticultural work (15-year window) with LOAs/POs and reference letters.
  • Vehicle ownership or rental proof (5+ suitable vehicles yields higher points).
  • Chainsaw operator(s) with CVs and relevant certificates (including working at heights).
  • Financial capability: recent signed financial statements including cash flow and balance sheet.
• Stage 3: Price (80 points) and Specific Goals (20 points) under 80/20 system; BBBEE/ownership and rural/community goals required.
• Additional: Compliance with PRASA General Conditions of Purchase; adherence to tax and data protection rules; CSD registration mandatory for award.
