Overview

Re-issue: Supply and delivery of conveyor idlers for various coal fired Power Stations over a period of 5 years. Eskom invites bids from suppliers of conveyor idlers for its coal-fired stations under an NEC3 Supply Contract (SC3), with a 5-year scope, targeting manufacturers/suppliers capable of large‑scale delivery and after‑sales support, and requiring compliance with Eskom’s tender procedures (SBDs, local content/CPA, B‑BBEE, integrity, and related pre‑qualifications).

Requirements

• NEC3 Supply Contract (SC3) basis for the contract and evaluation
• Eligibility: bidders must meet Tender Data criteria, not be restricted to do business with Eskom/State‑Owned Companies, and must not rely on 100% sub‑contracting
• Submission rules: electronic via Eskom E‑tendering; PDFs/Excel; no hard copies; max 50MB per file and 900MB total; final submission only
• Documents to submit: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2 (and related annexures); Tenderer’s particulars; Authorisation, Acknowledgement, Integrity Pact; Tax Evaluation questionnaire; Local Content Declarations (Annexures G1–G4 if applicable)
• Certifications/requirements: CPA/local content requirements; B‑BBEE affidavits (EME/QSE) as applicable; Supplier Integrity Pact;
• Other: non‑mandatory clarification meeting; technical/evaluation criteria and pricing schedule included in the technical folder (pricing in PDF and Excel); CIDB considerations per Tender Data (N/A noted in the ITT)
