Overview

RE-TENDERING: Provision of Medical Insurance Cover for Staff at NG-CDF MVITA for a one-year contract, open to Kenyan-registered insurance providers. The intended start is around June 2026, with a 1-year term. Bidders should be qualified insurance providers registered in Kenya (IRA) and able to provide staff medical insurance services to NG-CDF MVITA.

Requirements

• Insurance providers must be registered with the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) to offer insurance services in Kenya; registration is required before contract signature, not for tender submission.
• Not debarred or suspended; comply with anti-corruption, non-collusion, and conflict-of-interest rules.
• If bidding as a Joint Venture, JV structure has to be permitted (max members specified in the TDS), with a designated representative; members may not bid separately.
• Provide Kenyan Tax Compliance Certificate.
• Submit evidence of qualifications, eligibility, conformity to tender requirements, and a sample insurance policy for each required type.
• Be prepared to commence by the date in the TDS; contract duration is 1 year.
• Provide forms and authorizations as required (Form of Tender, Schedule, Authorization, etc.).

How to Apply

• Deadline: 26 August 2026 at 10:00 AM; late tenders will be rejected. No electronic submissions.
• Submission method: sealed tender envelope(s) delivered by hand to the NG-CDF MVITA tender box at Ronald Ngala Primary School NG-CDF Office; include ORIGINAL in an “ORIGINAL” envelope and COPIES as specified.
• Documents to submit (as applicable): Form of Tender and priced Schedule; Tender Security not required; Authorization to sign; Evidence of eligibility and qualifications; Evidence of IRA registration or pre-qualification; Tax compliance; Sample Insurance Policy; any other documents listed in the tender.
