Overview

RFQ for smartphones to be delivered to Prison Headquarters (Malawi) under a Local Purchase Order. The Malawi Prison Service invites quotations for 2 smartphones (64GB, 8GB RAM, Android 14) with a 12-month warranty, delivered within 7 days of order. Open to bidders meeting PPDA-compliant documentation (Section B).

Requirements

• PPDA-compliant documentation as listed in Section B
• Section B submissions: Business Registration Certificate, PPDA, VAT Registration, Withholding Tax Exemption, Tax Clear Certificate, and a list of recent Government contracts
• Quotation validity: 30 days; Delivery: 7 days from PO; Warranty: 12 months; Currency: Malawi Kwacha; Prices fixed for the validity period
• Delivery terms: if goods are supplied from within Malawi, EXW – insured and delivered to Prison Headquarters; if from outside Malawi, CIP to Prison
• Quotation must reference Procurement Number MPS/US/ORT/RFQ/26/27/103 and be submitted in sealed envelopes by 10:00 on 30/10/2026 to the IPC Chairman, Prison Headquarters, P.O. Box 28, Zomba
• Respondents should complete Section B and Section C (Schedule of Requirements) and may attach additional documentation as required; responsive/qualified quotes will be ranked by price
