Overview

The procurement is for the refurbishment of the ANC Constituency Office – Prieska, including site establishment, demolition, internal wall construction, ablution facility, carpet, painting, electrical works, and related services. Siyathemba Local Municipality invites service providers with building refurbishment capacity and safety/compliance credentials to bid (RFQ 37/2026; R30k–R300k).

Requirements

• Compulsory site inspection: 26 June 2026, 10:00, ANC Constituency Office, Prieska (non-attendance may render the bid non-responsive) (RFQ 37-2026 Refurbishment.pdf).
• Materials: Municipality to supply all materials; bidders must submit a separate detailed material quotation (description, quantity, unit rate, total) and no substitutions unless written approval is given.
• Works scope and delivery: Bidder to provide labour, supervision, transport, tools, etc.; materials to be delivered to Prieska; completion within 30 calendar days; six-month defect liability.
• Compliance and documentation: Bids must include MBD 4, MBD 8, MBD 9 and annexures; bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD); include Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate, Municipal account.
• Evaluation: 80/20 preference (Price 80; Specific goals 20: HDI 10, Locality 6, Youth 4); bid validity per MBD guidance (90 days).
• General: The Municipality reserves the right to accept whole or part of bids and is not obliged to award to the lowest bid; prices must include delivery; late or incomplete bids will be disqualified (RFQ 37/2026 documents).
