REFURBISHMENT OF THE DOM PEDRO QUAY AT THE PORT OF PORT ELIZABETH FOR A PERIOD OF SEVEN (7) MONTHS

Overview

Procurement of the refurbishment of the Dom Pedro Quay at the Port of Port Elizabeth for seven months. Open to bidders with CIDB contractor grading designation 7CE and registered on the Transnet e-tender portal; mandatory site briefing; and compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation of 7CE.
• Must be registered on the Transnet e-tender portal.
• Compliance with all tender conditions, including conflict-of-interest declarations and adherence to safety, environmental and quality requirements (as specified in annexures).
• Attendance at the compulsory site briefing and site visit.
• Certification and submission of required documentation (e.g., conflict declarations, NDAs, EMS/IMS commitments as applicable).

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 16 November 2026, 16:00. Tender validity: 12 weeks from closing date.
• Submission method: Electronic submission via the Transnet e-Tender Portal (see Annexure B, How to Submit Electronically Guide for Tenderers).
• Documents to submit (examples): Returnable Documents (T2.1 List; T2.2 Returnable Schedules), Form of Offer and Acceptance, Pricing Data, Bill of Quantities (Annexure A), and other contract/submittal documentation (see Annexure F; Annexure G/H as relevant).
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: CIDB 7CE; registration on the Transnet e-tender portal.
• Briefing/site details: Compulsory Tender Clarification Meeting on 26 October 2026 at 10:00 at the TNPA Lower Ground Canteen, Port of Port Elizabeth; attendance is mandatory (certificate of attendance required, T2.2-01).
