REFURBISHMENT OF UTRECHT WATER TREATMENT WORKS – PHASE 2

Overview

This is a construction tender for the refurbishment of Utrecht Water Treatment Works – Phase 2. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database with CIDB grading 7ME or higher for construction works.

Requirements

• CIDB 7ME+ registration and CSD verification; must be eligible for construction works.

• Original tax clearance or income tax reference number, security pin and TCC number.

• Bid documents require a non-refundable fee of R750 per document; deposit to the Amajuba District Municipality bank account (Standard Bank, 062156624). Proof of deposit is required to receive documents (see T202618 REFURBISHMENT OF UTRECHT WATER TREATMENT WORKS PHASE 2.pdf).

• Reserve bid documents in advance with Mrs Khethiwe Msimango by 09:00 on 7 October 2026.

• Compulsory Clarification Meeting attendance: 09 October 2026 at 10:00; non-attendance disqualifies (see T202618...).

• Bid validity: 90 days after the closing date.

• Sealed bids, deposited in the municipality’s tender box; late bids not accepted; bids opened publicly.

• Evaluation: 80/20 price vs functionality; 20 points for specific goals (HDI ownership, disability, female gender; location-based incentives for KwaZulu-Natal and Amajuba; municipal rates/taxes).

How to Apply

• Attend the compulsory Clarification Meeting: 09 October 2026, 10:00 at Amajuba District Municipality.

• Submit Completed BID documents, in sealed envelopes, to the Tender Box at the Reception of Amajuba District Municipality, B 9356 Main Street, Madadeni; ensure envelopes are sealed and numbered (see T202618...).

• Include all returnable documents and required registrations (CSD, tax details).

• Timeline: Submission deadline 02 November 2026 at 12:00; bids opened in public on receipt.
