Overview

Prequalification for Registration of Consultants for Provision of Architectural/Civil/Structural Engineering and Design Services. Open to all eligible consulting firms with architectural, civil or structural engineering and design capabilities seeking registration for FY 2026-2028.

Requirements

• Mandatory: Tax Compliance Certificate; PIN/VAT; valid Trading License/Business Permit; certificate of registration/incorporation; CR12 and/or change of name; ID copies of directors; Confidential Business Questionnaire; AGPO certificate if applicable; complete all registration forms.
• Eligibility/Qualification: regulatory certifications (e.g., KEBS, NCA, ERB, ERC) as relevant; company profile showing relevant experience and financial capacity; three client referees with evidence; audited accounts (or bank reference); litigation history; CVs for three key personnel (minimum 1 year experience).
• JV considerations apply; ensure disclosures and partner qualifications meet ITA requirements.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 17 September 2026 at 12:00 noon (PDS ITA 17). Extensions only via Addendum.
• Clarifications: questions due by 17 September 2026; responses issued in writing.
• Submission: sealed envelope containing original + copies; delivered by hand or post to County Government of Kitui, Ministry of Finance, Revenue Management and Accounting; Tender Box at entrance of County Treasury, Governors Block; opening at Deputy Governor’s boardroom. No electronic submission.
• Documents to submit: Application Submission Letter; ITA/Eligibility declarations; Qualification forms (ELI, FIN, EXP, etc.); any other documents listed in the PDS.
