Overview

Registration of Suppliers for Livestock, Livestock Products and Livestock feeds under Category 12 open to all as part of Kitui County’s prequalification for FY 2026-2028. Eligible bidders are suppliers wishing to be registered to supply livestock-related goods and services across county ministries.

Requirements

• Mandatory (Stage 1):

• Valid Tax Compliance Certificate or tax exemption

• PIN/VAT certificate

• Trading License/Business Permit

• Certificate of registration/incorporation

• CR12 and/or change of name

• ID copies of directors

• Confidential Business Questionnaire (duly filled, signed, stamped)

• AGPO Certificate (for categories reserved for AGPO)

• Complete all forms in the registration document

• Technical (Stage 2):

• Evidence of certification by regulatory bodies (e.g., KEBS, NCA, ERB, ERC) or equivalent

• Company profile showing relevant experience and financial capacity

• Details of three referees (with contract evidence from the last three years)

• Audited accounts for the last year or bank reference

• Litigation history

• Qualifications and CVs of three key personnel (minimum 1 year experience)

Notes: for joint ventures, qualifications may be shared per ITA rules; ensure compliance with listed criteria.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 17 September 2026, 12:00 noon (PDS); metadata shows 28 September 2026, 22:00 (conflicting; confirm prior submission). See (CGoKTI/Reg/012/2026-2028).
• Submission method: sealed envelopes, delivered to the Tender Box at the entrance of County Treasury – Governors Block; can be mailed, or submitted per PDS (where electronic submission is allowed).
• Documents to submit: Completed Application Submission Letter and Eligibility/Qualification Forms (Section IV: ELI-1.1, ELI-1.2, FIN-3.1, FIN-3.2) plus supporting evidence.
• Registrations: current Tax Clearance, PIN/VAT, Trading License, incorporation docs; AGPO only if applicable.
• Briefing/site visit: not indicated in the PDS (No mandatory briefing or site visit specified).
