Overview

Registration of suppliers for Soil Testing and Conservation Equipment, farm tools/implements and survey Equipment for Kitui County (FY 2026-2027 and 2027-2028) to prequalify as suppliers of goods across multiple categories. Open to all firms; Category 010 covers soil testing, conservation equipment, farm tools/implements and survey equipment (Category A: Open to All).

Requirements

• Valid Tax Compliance Certificate or tax exemption from Kenya Revenue Authority.
• PIN/VAT certificate and copy of Trading License/Business Permit.
• Certificate of registration/incorporation; CR12 and/or change of name; ID copies of directors.
• Confidential Business Questionnaire; valid AGPO certificate if applicable (for reserved categories).
• No conflict of interest; not debarred; compliance with PPRA and related rules.
• Evidence of regulatory certification where required (e.g., KEBS, NCA, ERB, ERC, etc., per category).
• Financial capability: audited accounts for the last year or bank reference; evidence of cash flow capacity.
• Three referees with contract performance evidence; litigation history; CVs for at least 3 key personnel.
• For joint ventures: comply with JV rules and declare all members; only eligible members considered.

How to Apply

• Prepare and seal applications: Application Submission Letter, Eligibility evidence, Qualifications, and any other documents per the PDS.
• Submit in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the Tender No. and Description; deposit in the Tender Box at the entrance of the County Treasury (Governors Block) or by mail if allowed by the PDS; deadline 17 September 2026 at 12:00 noon (documented in ITA/PDS). Tender opening in Deputy Governor’s boardroom.
