Overview

Registration of Suppliers for Supply and Delivery of General Office Stationery and Computer Stationery (Tonners, Flash Disks etc) is a prequalification to register suppliers for FY 2026-2027 and 2027-2028, reserved for AGPO groups under Category B. Eligible applicants are Youth, Women & PWD; open Category A listings exist for others.

Requirements

• Mandatory documents (Stage 1):
  • Valid Tax Compliance Certificate or exemption
  • PIN/VAT certificate
  • Trading license/business permit
  • Certificate of registration/incorporation
  • CR12 and/or change of name
  • ID copies for directors
  • Confidential Business Questionnaire
  • AGPO certificate (for AGPO-reserved category)
  • Complete all forms in the registration document
• Technical evaluation (Stage 2):
  • Evidence of relevant regulatory certifications (e.g., KEBS, NCA, ERB, ERC, etc.)
  • Company profile: experience and financial capacity
  • Three client referees with contract evidence (LPOs/LSOs/Contracts)
  • Audited accounts for last year or bank reference
  • Litigation history
  • CVs for 3 key personnel (minimum 1 year experience)

How to Apply

• Deadline: 17 September 2026, 12:00 Noon (Kitui PDS); metadata lists 28 Sept 2026 22:00 (document vs metadata discrepancy) (CGoKTI/Reg/018/2026-2028).
• Submission method: sealed envelopes delivered to the Chief Officer, Ministry of Finance, Revenue Management and Accounting; Tender Box at the entrance of County Treasury – Governors Block; hard copy submissions only (no electronic submission).
• Documents to submit: Application Submission Letter; Eligibility evidence; Qualifications; any other documents per the PDS (Section IV forms).
• Registrations: Tax clearance, AGPO certificate, PIN/VAT, trading license, incorporation documents.
• Briefing/site visits: No pre-application meeting required.
• Obtain documents: www.kitui.go.ke or www.tenders.go.ke (PPIP).
