Overview

The County Government of Kitui invites prequalification of suppliers for the supply and delivery of General Vocational Training Tools and Equipment, including mechanical workshop tools and equipment. Open to all bidders (Category A) with AGPO reservations for Youth, Women & PWD under Category B; applicable for FY 2026-2027 and 2027-2028.

Requirements

• Valid and up-to-date Tax Compliance Certificate or exemption (Kenya Revenue Authority).
• PIN/VAT certificate and valid Trading License/Business Permit.
• Certificate of registration/incorporation and CR12/name change documents as applicable.
• National IDs for directors; Confidential Business Questionnaire; AGPO certificate for reserved categories.
• Eligibility declarations and forms as specified (Section IV; Forms ELI, FIN, EXP).
• Evidence of regulatory/industry certifications where applicable (e.g., KEBS, NCA, ERB, ERC).
• Three client referees with contract evidence; audited accounts or bank reference.
• Details of ownership/control to assess conflicts of interest; JV rules apply if applicable.
• For JV, clear allocation of roles/qualifications; all members may be required to sign or provide Power of Attorney.
