Overview

Registration of Suppliers for Supply of Motor Vehicle tyres & tubes, batteries and other motor vehicle accessories. Prequalification for suppliers to be registered with Kitui County Government for FY 2026-2028. Category A is Open to All; Category B is reserved for AGPO groups (Youth, Women & PWD).

Requirements

• Valid and up-to-date Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) or exemption.
• PIN/VAT certificate.
• Valid Trading License/Business Permit.
• Certificate of Registration/Incorporation; CR12 or change of name; copies of ID for directors.
• Confidential Business Questionnaire (duly filled, signed, stamped).
• AGPO Certificate (where category is AGPO-reserved).
• Compliance with JV rules if applying as a joint venture.
• Technical vetting: evidence of regulatory certifications (e.g., KEBS, NCA, ERB, ERC, etc.), company profile with experience and financial capacity, three client referees with evidence of contracts, audited accounts or bank reference, litigation history, and CVs of three key personnel. How to Apply

• Download tender documents from kitui.go.ke or tenders.go.ke (CGoKTI/Reg/019/2026-2028).
• Prepare: Application Submission Letter; Eligibility declarations; Qualifications data; and all forms specified in the PDS (Section IV) plus any additional documents per the ITA/Section III criteria. Include AGPO details if applicable.
• Submission: seal applications in envelopes clearly marked with “Tender No. & Tender Description” and deposit in the Tender Box at the entrance of the County Treasury – Governors Block, Kitui. Deadline: 17 September 2026 at 12:00 noon (CGoKTI/Reg/019/2026-2028).
• Tender opening: Deputy Governor’s boardroom (CGoKTI/Reg/019/2026-2028).
• Submission may be by mail or hand; electronic submission is not indicated as available in this ITT (PDS ITA 17.1–ITA 19.1).
