Overview

Registration of suppliers for supply and installation of irrigation systems (greenhouses, drip kits, pumps, etc.), borehole hardware materials, casing, screens, drilling materials/tools and equipment, for FY 2026-2027 and 2027-2028. Open to all firms; prequalification for registration as suppliers of goods, works and services across Kitui County ministries.

Requirements

• Mandatory eligibility documents (Stage 1): Valid Tax Compliance Certificate or exemption, PIN/VAT, trading license, certificate of registration/incorporation, CR12 or change of name, IDs for directors, Confidential Business Questionnaire, AGPO certificate if applicable, and completion of all registration forms.
• Stage 2 technical criteria: certifications or registrations from regulatory bodies (e.g., KEBS, NCA, ERB, ERC or equivalents) and evidence of relevant licenses; clear company profile showing relevant experience and financial capacity; three client referees with contract evidence; audited accounts (or bank reference) for the last year; litigation history; CVs for three key personnel.
• JV/subcontractor rules: maximum number of JV members specified; ability to tender as JV or subcontract specialized parts; qualifications of proposed specialized subcontractors to be added to the Applicant’s qualifications where applicable.
• Compliance: anti-corruption and independence declarations; disclosure of any conflicts of interest; no debarment by PPRA.
