Requirements

• CIDB Grade 4 CE or higher (compulsory)

Evaluation and preferences

• Bids evaluated by Method 2: mandatory requirements, returnable, functionality, then price and preferences
• Minimum 60% functionality score at Stage Two to proceed
• 80/20 price and preferences: 20 points for specific goals; 5 points for CSI; 2.5 points for each of: 100% black ownership, >30% disability, youth, and women ownership, and enterprise located in Mkhondo
• 2.5 points for SANAS B-BBEE Level 1 contribution (or sworn affidavit/CIPC proof for EMEs/SMEs)

• No online submission; submissions must be in a sealed envelope to the specified tender box
• Not opening tenders publicly on closing date; late/emailed/faxed submissions not accepted

• Submit fully completed tender documents in a sealed envelope clearly marked Tender No. MKHO04/2026/27 and place in the tender box at No. 33 Corner Market and De Wet Street, eMkhondo 2380, by 17 August 2026, 12:00
• Register on the official bid submission register at the submission location; entities not on the register will not be considered
