Requirements

• CIDB grading: minimum 3CE; active status through the bidding period; JV rules apply.
• Mandatory briefing and site clarification: 10 Sep 2026, 12:00; on-site access (Dwesa Nature Reserve); 4x4 vehicle recommended.
• Tax and registrations: SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS PIN) or CSD registration; provide separate TCS/CSD for joint ventures/subcontractors.
• Returnable documents: CIDB certificate, proof of CSD, CK documents, JV agreements (if applicable), CVs/qualifications for key team members, WCA where required.
• Experience: evidence of at least two civil-engineering road projects ≥ R1.5M each in last 5 years (with references and completion certificates).
• Plant/equipment: proof of availability for required machinery (grader, bulldozer, tipper, TLB, roller, water tanker).
• Subcontracting: no subcontracting without ECPTA approval; provide JV/subcontractor documentation as applicable.
• Preference points: SBD 6.1 for specific goals (local content, youth/HDI/women/disability ownership) with supporting evidence.
• Compliance: bid on official forms; no electronic/telegraphic submissions; 84-day bid validity; insurance/bonds as per contract data.
