Overview

Remedial repairs to the Pollution Control Dams, Fuel Containment Areas and Associated Environmental Containment Infrastructure at Gourikwa Power Station. Bidders with civil-construction capabilities and experience in dam/containment works (NEC3 ECC3 framework), who are registered with Eskom/eTendering and able to meet CIDB and local-content requirements, should consider bidding. The project covers refurbishment and environmental containment infrastructure at Gourikwa, with siteworks, stormwater and containment elements.

Requirements

• CIDB registration (civil-engineering category) and Eskom/eTendering compliance
• Attendance at mandatory clarification/site meeting (07 Oct 2026, Gourikwa)
• Compliance with Eskom OHS/SHEQ and risk management requirements (OHS risk assessment procedures, incident management, PPE, etc.)
• Adoption of Eskom Supplier Quality Management Specification (QMS ISO 9001 alignment) and related pre/post-contract quality controls
• Completion and submission of specified bid documents and annexures (e.g., SBDs, pricing schedule, Schedule of Deviations) as per ITT
• Local Content and CPA requirements where applicable
• Pricing approach per NEC3 ECC3 Option B and related tender data
• Submission via Eskom eTendering portal at or before the deadline
