Overview

Remedial repairs to the pollution control dams, fuel containment areas and associated environmental containment infrastructure at Ankerlig Power Station. This is a civil‑engineering remediation procurement targeting dam refurbishment, stormwater and containment works at a power station, with bids invited from experienced civil‑engineering/construction contractors capable of NEC3/EC style contracts and strong health, safety and environmental capabilities, plus Eskom tender compliance (local content, CIDB, integrity pact, SBDs).

Requirements

• CIDB registration appropriate for civil engineering/dam works; ability to provide bonds/guarantees if required.
• Compliance with Eskom Standard Conditions of Tender and related annexures (SBD 1, 6.1, 6.2, 4; Integrity Pact; local content declarations).
• Local content and CPA requirements, including supporting schedules (Annexures C–G) where applicable.
• Health, safety and SHEQ compliance: OHS risk assessments and Life-Saving Rules; relevant Eskom PPE and safety standards.
• Mandatory clarification meeting attendance; adherence to e‑tendering submission process (electronic via Eskom eTendering).
• Completion/submission of required pre‑qualification documents and forms, including Annexures A–J and training acknowledgement where applicable.
