Removal and disposal of existing steel door frame and the supply and installation of aluminium single door

Overview

The SAWS seeks bids for the removal and disposal of an existing steel door frame and the supply and installation of an aluminium single door at Ermelo Weather Office. The project is an RFQ up to R500,000, targeting building/metalwork installers with experience in door installations and security upgrades.

Requirements

• CSD registration and/or SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or tax-compliant status; provide TCS PIN or CSD number.
• Complete and submit the official bid documents: Annexure A, SBD 3.3 (Pricing Schedule), SBD 4 (Bidder’s Declaration), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Form).
• Provide BBBEE status proof (certificate or sworn affidavit) if claiming points.
• 12-month warranty on workmanship (mandatory).
• Evidence of capacity and approved operational premises; SLA and supplier performance management requirements post-award.
• POPIA compliance: complete POPIA supplier notice/consent form.
• If part of a joint venture, provide subcontracting arrangements and separate TCS/CSD where applicable.
• Delivery timeframe to be specified; price and specific goals will be evaluated under the 80/20 (PRICE/SPG) or 90/10 framework per the regulations.

• Registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration; tax compliance (PIN) or TCS; where applicable, foreign entities to follow Annexure A provisions.
