Overview

Removal and replacement of DN 900 valves on Pumpsets 9 & 20, including auxiliary DN 150 bypass valves, at Palmiet Pumping Station. Rand Water invites bids from contractors with CIDB 3ME or higher (or equivalent), including joint ventures, and who meet the pre‑qualification and minimum functionality criteria stated in the bid documentation.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading of 3ME or higher (or equivalent); JV arrangements allowed.
• Letter of Good Standing (COIDA), CIDB registration, and applicable tax clearance; complete and sign SBD 4 and SBD 6.1; submit returnable documents.
• Pre-qualification and minimum 70% functionality (experience, HR capacity, equipment, project programme) as per T1.3.
• Returnable documents: Pricing Schedule/BoQ, enterprise questionnaire, BBBEE documentation, qualification to bid, and records of previous experience, HR and equipment capacity, and safety.
• Quality/contract expectations: ISO 9001 (or equivalent) quality management; adherence to safety and environment provisions in the contract data.
