Overview

Removal, disposal and replacement of asbestos roof sheets at Brooklands Plantation. SAFCOL invites service providers with asbestos handling, roofing and related construction capabilities to bid (CIDB 1GB or higher). Scope covers 10 village houses at Brooklands Plantation, with removal of asbestos roofs and replacement with corrugated/IBR sheets, within a defined project timeline.

Requirements

• CIDB registration: 1GB or higher.
• Tax and compliance: SARS tax clearance; CSD registration (register within 7 working days if not already on CSD).
• Health and safety: valid COIDA good standing; valid Department of Labour registration for asbestos handling.
• BBBEE: SANAS-accredited BBBEE verification or EME/QSE sworn affidavit.
• Documentation: fully completed RFQ, company letterhead, SBD forms, IDs for directors.
• Local and transformation goals: 51%+ Black Owned entities eligible for specific points; local employment and procurement targets apply.
• Price and terms: prices inclusive of VAT; contract follows NEC4 with defined payment, warranties and dispute provisions.
