Overview

Procurement of removal, disposal and replacement of asbestos roof sheets at Belfast Plantation. Scope covers removal of asbestos sheets on 10 village houses (~560 m² total) and installation of new corrugated galvanised roof sheets with associated works. Suitable bidders include asbestos abatement specialists and general contractors with CIDB 1GB+ and demonstrated asbestos handling capability, plus compliance with B-BBEE, tax, CSD, and related regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Fully completed RFQ on company letterhead and submission via email.
• B-BBEE verification certificate from a SANAS-accredited verifier or an EME/QSE sworn affidavit.
• SBD forms completed and returned; COIDA good standing.
• Latest SARS tax clearance or tax Pin; Tax compliance status verifiable.
• CSD registration (or undertake registration within 7 working days of award if not already registered).
• CIDB registration of at least 1GB or higher.
• Proof of Department of Labour registration to handle asbestos.
• Two reference letters or completion certificates for similar works.
• Proof of local content: fully completed SBD6.2 and Annexure C (local content goal).
• ID copies of company directors; current company registration documents (Pty/Trust/CC, etc).
• Proof of residence in Emakhazeni municipality (locality requirement).
• Compliance with returnable documents and anti-corruption disclosures (SBD4 disclosures).
