Overview

This RFQ is for the removal, disposal and replacement of asbestos roof sheets at Belfast Plantation (10 village houses) by SAFCOL. Bid is open to service providers with asbestos handling accreditation, roofing capability and CIDB registration (1GB or higher), and SANAS/SMME-BBBEE compliance. The project is a construction tender with a 60-day bid validity, and site work is 8 km from Belfast.

Requirements

• Fully completed RFQ on company letterhead; submitted by email to the specified address.
• SANAS-accredited B-BBEE verification or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE) and CSD registration; latest tax clearance.
• CIDB registration: 1GB or higher; proof required.
• Registration with Department of Labour to handle asbestos; COIDA good standing.
• Evidence of financial capacity (bank statement within 7 days of closing or approved funding).
• Two reference letters or completion certificates for similar works; CVs for key personnel.
• Identity documents of company directors; disclosure forms (SBDs) completed.
• Compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements; adherence to asbestos disposal regulations.
