Overview

Removal, disposal and replacement of asbestos roof sheets at Nelshoogte Plantation. Open to service providers with asbestos handling and roofing replacement capabilities, including certified asbestos contractors. Required: CIDB grade 2GB or higher, COIDA good standing, Department of Labour asbestos registration, SANAS-accredited B-BBEE verification (or EME/QSE sworn affidavit), CSD registration, tax clearance, and relevant ISO/industry standards.

Requirements

• Valid COIDA good standing and registration to handle asbestos.
• Proof of registration to handle asbestos with the Department of Labour.
• CIDB Grade 2GB or higher; two reference letters or similar completion certificates.
• Financial capacity: bank statement (not older than 1 week) or NCR-accredited funding proof.
• SARS tax clearance and proof of tax compliance.
• CSD registration (or register within 7 working days of award).
• B-BBEE: SANAS-accredited certificate or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE; ID copies of directors.
• Fully completed RFQ with company letterhead; signed SBD documents; JV BEE certificates if applicable.
• Returnable documents and declarations as specified (ID copies, etc.).
• Special: evidence of a registered asbestos handling contractor; transportation and disposal compliance.
