Overview

Requirements

• Registered asbestos handling contractor; disposal at designated sites.
• CIDB: 1GB or higher (for primary contract engagement and subcontracting).
• Compliance evidence: Tax clearance, B-BBEE (SANAS-accredited) or EME/QSE sworn affidavit; CSD registration; IDs of directors.
• Proof of Department of Labour registration to handle asbestos; COIDA good standing.
• Returnable documents: fully completed RFQ, company letterhead quotation, latest tax clearance, BBBEE, CSD/MAAA number, director IDs (as per Returnable Documents).
• Environmental/health safety: comply with asbestos regulations; disposal certificates prior to payment; health and safety plans.
• Project scope/contract type: NEC4 Engineering and Construction Short Contract; working program, site supervision, and monthly reporting.
• Specific goals (80/20 preferential pricing): evidence for 51% Black Ownership (10 points), 51% Black Women Owned (5), 51% Black Youth Owned (3), 51% People with Disabilities (2).
