REMOVAL, SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF NEW AIRCONS IN GAUTENG CLUSTER ON AN ‘AS AND WHEN REQUIRED BASIS ‘FOR PERIOD OF 24 MONTHS

Overview

Procurement of removal, supply, delivery and installation of new air-conditioning units in the Gauteng cluster on an ‘as and when required’ basis for 24 months (including 12 000 BTU and 18 000 BTU split units, 18 000 BTU cassette units) and removal of existing units. Bidders should have HVAC installation/maintenance capability, electrical/mechanical contracting or facilities management expertise, and meet Eskom eligibility, CIDB/BBEE, SHEQ and environmental requirements; a compulsory site briefing is part of the process.

Requirements

• Eligibility per Tender Data; not restricted from Eskom/State‑Owned Companies; no 100% subcontracting.
• CIDB registration/lookup as required by Tender Data; provide proof by closing or within 21 working days after closing.
• Compliance with NT instructions, CIDB, PPPFA; SDL&I undertaking by contract award; proof of CIDB where applicable.
• SHEQ proof (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality systems).
• Environmental refrigerant criteria: no R-22; use low‑GWP refrigerants; refrigerant recovery/handling method statements; policy commitments.
• Cataloguing/labeling of delivered items if required; pricing to include cataloguing if applicable.
• Security for performance: name at least two financial institutions.
• Certification and authority: proof of signing authority if acting as an agent; SDL&I undertaking.
• Tender pricing: all duties/taxes included; fixed for duration; prices in Rand.
