Overview

Procurement of rendering of catering services (leasing of kitchen and tuck shop) at Tompi Seleka College of Agriculture for 3 years. Target bidders are experienced catering service providers capable of operating school/college kitchens and tuck shops, with health, safety and food-service capabilities, including adherence to environmental health standards. The contract includes monthly rental payments (tuck shop and kitchen) and a 3-year term with annual performance-based revisions. Requirements

• Compliance and registrations: SARS Tax Compliance PIN; Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; VAT status if applicable; separate TCS for JV/consortia; health-related registrations.
• Health and safety: valid Health Certificate and Certificate of Acceptability; adherence to Environmental Health Acts and food-safety standards; on-site inspections.
• Documentation: signed Invitation to Bid (SBD 1); Pricing Schedule (SBD 3.2); Bidder’s Disclosure (SBD 4); Preference Points Form (SBD 6.1); JV agreements if applicable; all documents in black ink and complete.
• Experience and capability: catering management experience; proven capacity and references; on-site physical inspection may be conducted.
• Commercial terms: lease/rental for tuck shop and kitchen (R1,247 per tuck shop and R6,235 per kitchen per month, subject to annual tariff adjustments) plus insurance requirements.
