Overview

Rendering of private security services to the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure: Zululand Sub-District, Nongoma for 12 months. Suitable PSIRA-registered security providers should bid, with owner/director PSIRA Grade A or B, PSIRA registration for the company, and ability to meet mandatory compliance criteria (Phase 2). The process uses an 80/20 preference system with 20 points for specific goals, including 10 points for ownership by Black People and 10 points for enterprise located within King Cetshwayo/ Zululand/ Umkhanyakude District.

Requirements

• Owner/Director must hold Grade A or B PSIRA grading; supporting certificates.
• Entity must be registered with PSIRA; provide company PSIRA certificate.
• Current payroll in line with PSIRA rates/grades.
• COIDA/WC registration; UIF (EMP201).
• Pension Fund for Security Officers and compliance with its Provident Fund.
• Public Liability Insurance (minimum R1 million) or letter of intent.
• At least one company vehicle (with supporting documents).
• Company profile with three reference letters for contracts of at least six months.
• ICASA licence for radio equipment/frequencies or lease agreement.
• All returnable documents certified by Commissioner of Oaths (not older than 3 months).
