Overview

Rendering of private security services to the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure: Umkhanyakude District Office, Mkhuze for 12 months. Bidders must be licensed with PSIRA, comply with 80/20 preference points, and demonstrate local Black ownership and regional presence.

Requirements

• Owner/Director must hold Grade A or B PSIRA; entity must be PSIRA-registered.
• Current payroll aligned with PSIRA rates/grades.
• COIDA/WC registration; UIF EMP201 certificate.
• Pension fund and Provident Fund registrations (PSSPF) and PSSPF compliance.
• Public liability insurance (minimum R2 million) or letter of intent.
• At least one company vehicle; provide logbooks/lease docs.
• Company profile with three award letters and six months’ references.
• ICASA license for radio equipment/frequencies or lease agreement.
• Proof of prior security experience and references; all returnable docs certified by Commissioner of Oaths (not older than 3 months).
• Registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and tax compliance status (PIN).
• Proof of PSIRA registration and a valid PSIRA-grade for owner/director.
• Mandatory briefing and site inspection; compliance with all bid documentation (SBD forms, pricing schedules, etc.).
