Overview

Procurement of rendering service for dust, noise and water quality monitoring at Clanwilliam Dam in the Western Cape for DWS Construction South. Bidders should have expertise in environmental monitoring (dust, noise, water quality), plus relevant certifications (occupational hygiene, legal compliance) and be prepared to meet the PP/PPPFA requirements.

Requirements

• Tax and supplier registrations: SARS Tax Compliance (PIN) and/or Tax Clearance; Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; active CIPC (Companies and Intellectual Property Commission) registration.
• Compliance documentation: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1 and, where applicable, SBD 3.1; pricing schedule completed.
• Specific qualifications: Lead Occupational Hygienist registration with SAIOH (or equivalent) and Company Approved Inspection Authority (AIA) certificate with the Department of Labour.
• Corporate prerequisites: B-BBEE Status Level verification (Level 1–2) or compliant sworn affidavit for EME/QSE; valid Good Standing with the Compensation Commissioner (COIDA).
• Authority and governance: proof of authority to sign bid (joint ventures require joint-venture agreement and signatories’ authority).
• Additional: SARS/PIN verification, CSD and proof of representations as required.
