Overview

This tender is for the renewal of Sophos cybersecurity licences. It targets IT security software suppliers capable of renewing and managing Sophos licenses, including license administration and related support. Open National Tender by Kenya Development Corporation (KDC), with paper submissions only.

Requirements

• Tender security of Ksh 50,000, valid for 120 days (or Tender-Securing Declaration as permitted).
• Compliance with Kenyan public procurement rules: anti-corruption, no debarment, and declaration of independent tender determination.
• Eligibility and qualifications per Section III (including tax clearance, no conflicting interests, and JV arrangements if applicable).
• Evidence of conformity and completeness: Form of Tender, price schedules, authorization to sign, information on information system eligibility, subcontractors list where relevant, and IP disclosures.
• For foreign bidders: require minimum local content (40% of inputs from national suppliers) and related documentation.
• Submission of documents in English; pricing and currency rules as per TDS; adherence to specified incoterms and cost breakdowns.
• Site, pre-bid, or clarification provisions as per TDS (details may be in the tender data sheet).

How to Apply

• Deadline: 1 October 2026, 10:00 am (Tenders submitted after this time will be rejected). Late tenders rejected.
• Submission method: paper tender delivered to the Tender Box; no electronic submissions (address: KDC, Uchumi House, 17th Floor, Nairobi).
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender with price schedules; Tender Security or declaration; JV documents if applicable; evidence of eligibility and conformity; subcontractor details; authority to sign; and any other documents required in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS) and Section IV forms (as attached in the Sophos Security Licenses document).
• Pre-bid/clarifications: details to be provided in the TDS; site visit and pre-tender meeting, if any, will be as specified (noted as potentially optional in the document).
