Requirements

• Eligibility and qualifications per ITT Section III and 17: complete Form of Tender and qualification information; JV if any.
• NCA registration: must be registered with the National Construction Authority (level 6+) and possess a valid NCA license; registration to be confirmed prior to contract award.
• Financial: audited accounts and bank statements for last 3 years; evidence of financial standing.
• Tax and legal: valid PIN and Kenya Tax Compliance Certificate; company registration and CR12; relevant declarations and ethical/compliance forms.
• Performance-related: tender security or a Tender-Securing Declaration (as per ITT 19.1), though some appendices indicate zero security; verify requirements in the final TDS.
• On-going works: no more than four on-going projects; current projects should not be behind schedule without approved extensions.
• Local-content: foreign bidders must demonstrate at least 40% local inputs (from citizen suppliers/contractors).
• Compliance: no conflicts of interest, not debarred, and adherence to anti-corruption provisions.
• Other: environmental/safety compliance and ability to meet works’ requirements in Section VII.
