Overview

Renovations of Community Building Phase 2: Abaqulusi Local Municipality invites bids for renovation works on a community building (Phase 2). Suitable bidders are service providers with construction/renovation capabilities, able to provide complete tender compliance (CSD, tax clearance, B-BBEE, municipal data base) and to meet local sourcing considerations as per the RFP.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database registration (detailed) for special goals
• Valid copy of company registration document
• SARS PIN or Tax Clearance certificate
• Certified B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
• Certified current account for water/electricity or rates/taxes (not older than 3 months) or lease agreement
• Certified copies of identity documents of directors/owners
• Service providers must be on the Municipal Data Base (collect forms or download from the municipal site)
• Compliance with tax and pre-award questions; if foreign, complete Part B:3
• Bids must be submitted on official forms; no late submissions
• Evaluation uses price and specific goals (minimum 90/10 or 80/20 framework as applicable)

How to Apply

• Download tender documents from the E-tender portal (www.e-tenders.gov.za) starting 22 June 2026 (see attached Tender Documents: 8/2/1/617 and related PDFs).
• Submissions: deposit sealed bids in the bid box at ground floor, AbaQulusi Local Municipality, corner of High and Mark Streets, Vryheid 3100, by 08 July 2026 at 12:00.
• Submit on official forms (MBD1, MBD2, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD7.2, MBD8, MBD9) and include all required attachments (see documents for specifics).
• Submission method: bids may be delivered to the bid box; ensure seal and correct labeling (RENOVATION OF COMMUNITY BUILDING PHASE 2: Tender NO: 8/2/1/617 or 616 as applicable).
• Shortlisted bidders may be required to provide Tax Compliance/Pin evidence; foreign bidders must complete the pre-award questionnaire.
