Repair of Ffennell Road Round Building (including Telemetry Wing) Roof

Overview

Repair of Ffennell Road Round Building Roof including Telemetry Wing – waterproofing works on a flat concrete roof. Bidders should be roofing/ waterproofing contractors with CIDB 1SN, registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) for supply and services, and able to meet PPPFA/BBBEE and related rules.

Requirements

• CIDB grading of 1SN; OHS Act safety file to be quoted, supplied and approved before work starts.
• CSD registration (supplier vetting) and valid tax clearance; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Propose primary waterproofing system (APP or SBS torch-on) or an approved alternate with minimum 10-year manufacturer warranty; comply with SANS 10400-L.
• Full BOQ completion and attachment of material data sheets, dump/disposal site confirmation, and project-specific workmanship/warranty details.
• Site briefing attendance and inclusion of all required Bill of Quantities items; no bids from state employees; no tender defaulters.
• All quotes on company letterhead, inclusive of taxes; provide warranties and close-out documentation.

• Documents to submit: MBD 3.1 pricing schedule, MBD 4 Declaration of Interest, MBD 6.1 Preference Points, MBD 8 SCM practices, MBD 9 Independent Bid Determination, original tax clearance, BBBEE certificate/affidavit, proof of CSD supplier number, company registration docs, lease/municipal account (not older than 3 months), and full BOQ/compliant attachments. • Pre-qualifications/registrations: CSD registration; CIDB 1SN; valid tax clearance; BBBEE documentation.
• Briefing session: Compulsory briefing on 29 October 2026 at Ffennell Road Depot, 82-Ir, corner Rosettenville Rd & Ffennell Rd, ROUND BUILDING; time 09:00.
