Requirements

• Compulsory site inspection and submission of a detailed repair plan (materials, methods, timelines).
• Lead Artisan/Technician with formal Refrigeration Trade Test; active gas-handling license (SAQCC/SARACCA) and CVs/IDs/qualifications for team; 3–5 years project supervision in HVAC-R.
• References: signed client letters for cold room/freezer repairs; broomproof staffing plan; CVs and IDs for key personnel.
• Emergency response capability: near-site premises and ability to respond within 2–4 hours, 24/7 where applicable.
• Compliance: adherence to SANS and food-safety standards; 12-month warranty on workmanship and materials.
• Administrative: registration on NORTDA Vendor Database; SARS Tax Clearance and Tax PIN; COIDA/insurance proof; full bid compliance with Schedule 10 and, if >R10m, Schedule 3 with audited financials; JV/Consortium documentation if applicable; valid B-BBEE certification.
