Overview

Repair, refurbishment, and maintenance of the perimeter security fence at OR Tambo International Airport, including razor wire and barbed wire, for a period of 24 Months. CIDB grading required: 5 SQ or higher; suitable for contractors with perimeter fencing/airport works experience and ability to operate on an aviation site.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading of 5 SQ or higher (mandatory).
• Compulsory briefing/clarification meeting attendance (09 September 2026, OR Tambo Parade Room).
• Tax/compliance: provide SARS PIN; offeror may submit TCS certificate or CSD number; separate TCS for each JV member.
• Submit bids on official forms (Original + 1 copy) plus electronic copy (USB); sealed envelopes; deposit in Bid Box B.
• Returnable documents and schedules as specified (Form of Offer and Acceptance, Schedule of Deviations, pricing and scope documents).
• Functionality evaluation (Stage 4): minimum 60/100 to progress; requires 3 similar projects for experience, 2 qualified welders, and 1 qualified supervisor; price and preference criteria apply thereafter.
• Preferences: 80/20 price-preference (for bids ≤ R50m) and B-BBEE/Specific Goals scoring; proof required (B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit).
• Compliance with PPPFA, GCC, and any special conditions; no alterations to tender unless authorized; participation in compulsory processes.

• Required registrations: CIDB; Tax/PIN/CSD as applicable; ensure all documents are complete and signed (e.g., Form C1.1, acceptance forms, and relevant schedules).
