Overview

Repair, service and maintenance of diesel generator sets for Kenya Re commercial buildings. Open to qualified bidders with diesel-generator maintenance capability (electrical/mechanical engineering firms), for a one-year contract renewable on satisfactory performance.

Requirements

• Eligibility and integrity: comply with Kenyan public procurement laws; disclose conflicts of interest; sign required independence and anti-corruption declarations; not debarred.
• Tender security: provide a Tender Security of KSh 150,000 (or a Tender-Securing Declaration) as specified.
• Documentation: submit Form of Tender, priced Activity Schedule, Tender Security, qualifications, eligibility evidence, and JV documentation if applicable; provide proof of ownership/control information as required.
• Local content and nationality: foreign tenderers must show at least 40% local inputs; margin of preference not applicable; JVs must meet nationality rules.
• Tax and compliance: Kenyan bidders must show valid tax compliance; overall conformity to tender requirements; site visits are required as per the attached plan (DOCUMENT).
• Miscellaneous: all pages serialized; tenders submitted in hard copy only; no electronic submission; contract term is one year from signing (renewable).
