Overview

Repairs and maintenance of Kingston (B3) staff accommodation at Great Fish River Nature Reserve to be executed by CIDB 3GB or higher contractors. The ECPTA invites bids for a 4-month works contract. Compulsory briefing is on 09 June 2026 at the site (GPS: 32°59’32.19”S, 26°50’17.78”E); site visit is part of the briefing. Bidders must be CIDB-registered in 3GB or higher and may bid with a JV under CIDB rules. (Tender Document - 04FY27.pdf)

Requirements

• CIDB: 3GB or higher; proof/certificates to be submitted; JV rules apply.
• Returnable documents: CIDB certificate, CSD registration (with full month bid close), CK documents, and related compliance papers.
• Experience: minimum three completed general building projects over R1,000,000 each in last 5 years; provide appointment letters and completion certificates with client references and site coordinates.
• Team and qualifications: Contracts Manager/Site Agent (Diploma in Civil/Building or higher); Foreman; Plumber; Electrician (Trade/License); Occupation Health and Safety Officer (SACPCMP). CVs and copies of qualifications must be provided.
• Methodology: project approach, preliminary programme, and cash-flow projections.
• Compliance and governance: adherence to CIDB, JBCC Minor Works, GCC 2015, SANS standards, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and World Bank procurement rules; anti-corruption and sanctions compliance.
• Other: confirm capacity, provide signs of good standing, and ensure no conflicts of interest; confirm no outstanding SARS issues via CSD.
