Overview

Repairs and Renovations to Queens Mercy, Magadla Clinic and Maluti CHC in Alfred Nzo District. Eligible bidders are contractors with CIDB grading 5GB, 4GB PE or higher (General Building GB), for a 9-month fixed construction contract based on JBCC 6.2/2018. Requirements

• CIDB grading: 5GB, 4GB PE or HIGHER; JV allowed with conditions; lead partner must meet grading; active CIDB status during award.
• Returnable documents: SBD 1/4/6.1, Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire, Certificate of Authority for joint ventures, complete priced Bills of Quantities, project references, CSD/tax compliance certifications.
• Qualifications for functionality (minimum 70 points): Expertise of key personnel, relevant project experience, and project references (detailed scales in Tender Document).
• Compliance: tax matters in order (CSD/SARS), POPIA consent, and no conflicts of interest; no tender defaulter status.
• Evaluation: Method 3 (Administrative, Functionality, Price, Preference); PPPFA 2022 (80/20 for up to R50m); specific goals and local content considerations.
• Other: Compulsory briefing attendance; 120-day tender validity; adherence to SANS 10845-3 rules; compulsory insurance/performance bond requirements.
