Overview

Procurement of repairs, maintenance and desludging of all septic tanks in Moretele Local Municipality offices for a 36-month period. Suitable for service providers with septic tank desludging, sanitation maintenance and related waste-management capabilities, including emergency response, safety planning and access to suitable vacuum/jetting equipment.

Requirements

• Compulsory registration and compliance: CSD registration summary; tax compliance status; company/CC/partnership documents as applicable; COIDA/compensation fund good standing where required.
• Returnable/evaluation documents: completed forms for MBD declarations (interest, past SCM practices), form of offer and acceptance, authority to sign, and proof of identity/registration for directors as required.
• Experience and personnel: schedule of relevant expertise; CVs and proof of qualifications for key personnel; at least three contactable references for similar work.
• Equipment and capability: proof of ownership, lease or access to suitable plant and equipment (vacuum tanker/honey sucker/jetting vehicles) or binding access arrangements.
• Method and safety: detailed method statement, emergency response plan, lawful sludge disposal approach, incident management and occupational health and safety implementation.
• Optional/contractual: acceptance of the General Conditions of Contract (GCC) and special municipal provisions; compliance with bid data and contract framework.
• Pricing: complete pricing schedules covering routine quarterly desludging, emergency work, minor inlet/outlet maintenance, additional items, and user-awareness support.
