Overview

This RFQ invites bids to repair roof, electrical and ceiling damages at West Bank Post Office. Suitable bidders are building/roofing contractors with asbestos experience and licensed electricians capable of providing a CoC, CIDB registration (1GB & 1EB – Active), and compliance with the National Building Regulations; familiarity with SAPO processes and BBBEE requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB registration: category 1GB and 1EB – Active status (with CRS)
• Qualified electrician to perform electrical works and issue an electrical CoC if required
• Compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993
• Tax and SARS compliance: Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or valid CSD number; separate TCS for consortium/JV/sub-contractors
• BBBEE: consolidated certificate for consortia/JVs; scoring points for Specific Goals/Preference
• Submission on official forms (SBD1, SBD4) and contract form (SBD7)
