Overview

Repairs to Infanta: replacement of the 11kV HT switchgear with Battery Tripping Unit and three generator control panels with Automatic Transfer Switch, plus installation and acceptance. This requires service providers with proven electrical power systems expertise (HT switchgear, control panels, ATS/BTU), and access to Infanta via a gravel road (approx. 100 km) with a 4x4 vehicle.

Requirements

• CIDB registration (compulsory) with appropriate grade.
• Tax Clearance Certificate (SBD2) and VAT compliance.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; include supporting documents.
• B-BBEE status level certificate (SBD6.1) or valid verification; transformation plans may be required.
• Completion of compulsory returnables: Annexures A–N as specified, including financial statements and company registrations.
• Mandatory site briefing and site visit: 23 June 2026 at Infanta; access requires a 4x4; ensure readiness for remote location work.

• Submission deadline: 8 July 2026 at 11:00 (CAT). Bids beyond this time are not considered.
• Submission method: hard copies plus electronic copy. Deliver to the DENEL AEROSPACE (OVERBERG TEST RANGE CAMPUS) tender box, Arniston Road, Arniston, Western Cape; box accessible 24/7; sign the security register.
• Documents to submit (as applicable per Part B and Part D): Annexure A (Pricing Schedule), Annexure B (Proposal), Annexure C (Tax Clearance SBD2), Annexure D–N (Declaration of Interest, B-BBEE, CIPC docs, CSD, Authorization, etc.); include certified copies where required and full supporting documents for Qualifying and Functional criteria (Annexure K).
• Pre-qualifications: CIDB, tax, CSD; provide transformation-related plans if majority ownership criteria are not met.
