Overview

Informal tender to replace roof covering at Council House Darling (construction works) with an estimated contract value up to R300 000. Suitable bidders are service providers with CIDB registration in GB class of construction works and an appropriate grading, experience in roofing, and the ability to meet B-BBEE and locality requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB registration in GB class of construction works with grading designation as per the tender sum or Regulation 25(1B)/25(7A).
• Contract value within the R300 000 range.
• Compliance with the General Conditions of Tender and any applicable Special Conditions of Tender.
• Complete Annexure MBD 6.1; submit original or certified B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificates.
• Submit Proof of Locality to claim locality points.
• Bid submissions must be in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “Informal Tender SCM30/26/27 – Replace Roof Covering at Council House Darling,” deposited in the tender box by 11h00 on 13 August 2026 (SCM30/26/27).
• Evaluation: 80/20 Preferential Procurement; option to accept none or part of bids per Council policy.
