Overview

APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO OFFER BASIC DRONE PILOT COURSE (REMOTE PILOT LICENCE – RPC) FOR LANDFILL AUDITS, MONITORING AND ENVIRONMENTAL INSPECTIONS. The Department invites SACAA-accredited trainers to bid; the service provider must submit a valid SACAA accreditation certificate showing organisation approval number and validity period.

This training targets municipal waste officials and related staff, delivered as a 5-day, face-to-face RPC course around Pretoria, for about 13 officials, with costs including venue and catering. Training materials must be provided to each delegate.

Requirements

• SACAA accreditation plus a valid certificate showing organisation approval number and validity period.
• Capacity to deliver the Basic RPC course (Annexure A) over 5 days, including training materials for each delegate.
• Venue around Pretoria; cost to include venue and catering for the duration.
• About 13 officials; training occurs on-site for waste/environmental compliance roles.
• Quotes must be on official letterhead, include VAT, supplier’s CSD (MAAA) number, and banking details.
• Compliance: 90-day RFQ validity; all taxes and delivery costs included; no delivery before official order.
• Preference points: to claim specific goals (Black ownership, Women, or Persons with Disabilities) via SBD6.1, medical certificate (disability), SANAS/CIPC B-BBEE documentation, and CIPC Ownership Certificate.
• SBD forms (SBD 4 and SBD 6.1) completed and signed; tax compliance PIN or CSD number.
