Overview

• This tender is for the appointment of a service provider for Alternate Building Technology of three facilities in the Chris Hani District. Open to CIDB 6GB+ contractors registered on the Eastern Cape DoH ABT database (SCMU3-23/24-0048 or similar).

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 6GB or higher; ABT database registration with EC DoH (ABT bidders list).
• Two-stage procurement using JBCC Edition 6.2 (2024); compulsory briefing and site familiarisation.
• Contractor must be a legal entity and registered on the National Treasury CSD; COIDA/FEM good standing; CIDB certificate; SBDs; POPIA consent; proof of specific goals.
• Specialist subcontractors required: Electrical, Plumbing, Roofing, Seamless Aluminium Rainwater Goods (with relevant registrations/certifications).
• Returnable documents and supporting evidence (portfolio of works, references, CVs for key personnel) must be supplied.
• Tender validity: 90 days.
