Overview

Procurement of GPvNO TN3270e emulation software licenses and maintenance/support for the Eastern Cape Provincial Government. Bidders should be software suppliers who are certified/registered with the Original Software Manufacturer (OSM) as a GPvNO TN3270e partner, capable of delivering 1000 concurrent licenses plus ongoing maintenance for 2500 existing licenses over five years, with potential to add 1000 more at the same unit price. Delivery is to the Eastern Cape Office of the Premier (Room 2082, 2nd Floor ECDC Building, Bisho). Documented bids must comply with SITA/GCC processes and tax/CSD requirements. (see Annexure 6c, 6d)

Requirements

• Mandatory on Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration.
• Bidder must be registered/certified with the OSM as an authorised reseller/installer/partner for GPvNO TN3270e.
• Provide at least one reference for GPvNO TN3270e licenses with maintenance in the last five years.
• Accept Government General Conditions of Contract and Special Conditions of Contract; complete the Declaration of Compliance.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or CSD/TCS where applicable; no bids from government employees or related restrictions.
• Deliver via SITA Supplier Oracle ERP portal; no manual submissions.
• SP/contractual governance including security, confidentiality, and fronting provisions.

• Submission deadline: 17 August 2026, 11:00 SA time. Questions deadline: 31 July 2026, 16:00. (see Annexure 6a)
• Briefing: Non-compulsory ERP walkabout on 28 July 2026 at 10:30 via Microsoft Teams; briefing venue noted as Microsoft Teams (see Annexure 6a). Annexure 6b states no briefing session will be held.
• Submission method: through the SITA Supplier Oracle ERP portal (https://suppliers.sita.co.za/AppsLocalLogin.jsp); no hard copies or email submissions (see Annexure 6a, 6c).
