Requirements

• CIDB grading: 5EB/5EP or higher.
• Compulsory briefing and site inspection: 10 November 2026 at 11:00, Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport; site inspection immediately after.
• Tax and supplier registrations: Tax Compliance Status (TCS PIN) with SARS; if unavailable, provide CSD number (and appropriate joint-venture documentation where relevant).
• Qualifications and experience: evidence of electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications; contract manager with relevant engineering background; electrical/mechanical technicians; master electrician with requisite experience; CVs and certificates for key personnel.
• Functionality: minimum threshold 60/100 based on demonstrated company experience (generator-related projects), project management capability, and health & safety capability.
• Pricing and procurement rules: fixed rates for the contract duration; 80/20 price/preference scoring; BBBEE and other required specific goals with supporting documentation.
• Financial securities: 10% performance bond; 5% retention; insurance as per contract data.
• Completion/defects: scope includes defects liability terms and testing/commissioning as per NEC3 ECC data.
