REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF A ONCE-OFF SERVICE PROVIDER FOR ACQUISITION, SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF ARTWORK AND SCULPTURES TO LIMPOPO PROVINCIAL THEATRE.

Overview

This tender seeks a one-off service provider to acquire, supply, deliver and install artworks and sculptures at the Limpopo Provincial Theatre. Bidders should have capabilities in curatorial coordination, procurement, logistics and installation, with a preference for artists and teams connected to Limpopo Province. A compulsory briefing is required.

Requirements

• Administrative and legal compliance: tax obligations, SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD number; no bids from state officials or close connections to state bodies.
• Documentation: complete and submit SBD1, SBD3.1 (Pricing), SBD4 (Bidder’s Disclosure), SBD6.1 (Preference Points Form), plus the Pricing Schedule (firm prices).
• Experience/scope: proven ability in curatorial coordination, Limpopo artist sourcing, commissioning coordination, packaging, transport, installation, asset register and close-out.
• Local content: artworks to reflect Limpopo culture; artists commissioned or represented should be from Limpopo Province.
• Delivery: delivery and handover within the project timeline (delivery following appointment; reference delivery windows in the scope).
• Briefing: attend the compulsory briefing on 28 October 2026 (Limpopo Provincial Theatre site; wear PPE).
• Evaluation: Phase 1 administrative compliance; Phase 2 functionality; Phase 3 price and specific goals (80/20 split; 20 for specific goals such as ownership demographics).
• Additional: supplier due diligence and fronting safeguards; confidentiality of bid content.

• Submission format: one original copy, sealed; initial each page.

• Registrations: SARS PIN for tax status; CSD number if no TCS; separate TCS for each JV/consortium party.
